Background and History
The church has its roots in the local branch of the Nederlands Protestantse Bond (NPB), which was founded on 1 June 1944 during World War II. The inaugural service took place on 3 September 1944 in a private residence as no suitable church premises were available at that time. Attendance grew quickly, starting from 75 people to over 150 members by 1950, supported by fundraising events that facilitated the purchase of land and the church's construction. The cornerstone was laid on 17 February 1951, with leadership playing a key role in securing donations from across the country.
