La Maison de Mégalithes

Located in the village of Wéris near Durbuy, the Maison des Mégalithes serves as the official interpretation centre for Belgium’s most important megalithic landscape. The building itself is modest in scale, set within a rural environment of fields and forests, but it plays a central role in understanding the surrounding archaeological sites. From here, visitors can access nearby monuments such as the Wéris dolmens and menhirs, located within a few kilometers across the Calestienne plateau. The centre acts as both an introduction and a gateway to exploring these prehistoric remains in their natural setting.
