St Patricks well Mám Éan

St Patrick’s Well (Tobar Phádraig) sits at Mám Éan, a natural mountain pass cutting through the Maumturk Mountains in County Galway. The setting is striking, with steep rocky hillsides and wide stretches of open moorland all around. At the site itself, you’ll find a small holy well, a simple altar, and a cross looking out over the valley below.
