Dolmen Pedra Moura de Monte Carnio

The Dolmen de Pedra Moura de Monte is located near the villages of Arxomil and Carnio, in the parish of Serramo, municipality of Vimianzo, in the province of A Coruña, Galicia. Set within a rural landscape of open meadows and low vegetation, the monument appears as a modest but clearly defined megalithic structure. It consists of a polygonal chamber built with upright stone slabs and a short corridor, partially preserved, all originally covered by a circular earthen mound approximately 15 metres in diameter. The remains of this mound are still visible, although reduced in height. The site forms part of a dense concentration of megalithic monuments in the Costa da Morte region, including nearby structures such as Pedra Cuberta and Pedra da Lebre, highlighting the archaeological richness of this area.
